John BeznerJohn Bezner

John specializes in the Defense Industry, especially program management, business development, logistics, and related technical positions.

His 35+ years of DOD experience in both industry and government assignments have prepared him well in terms of understanding the peculiar needs and recognizing the critical talents required by the defense industry.

John successfully established one of the first major Performance Based Logistics (PBL) programs and his Army/industry team won the 2006 OSD System Level PBL of the Year Award.

John was President of a wholly owned subsidiary of a major corporation and he also served as a Program Director for over 20 years for a major prime contractor. Interesting assignments included a 3-year on-site logistics effort in Canada, and leadership of multiple major Army programs.

Prior to moving to industry, John served as a senior special advisor to the Army Materiel Command’s Command Group and served in a similar fashion advising the GSA Administrator.

John has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Texas A&M. He is also one of the relatively rare civilian graduates of the Armed Forces Staff College.

Other educational activities include: successful completion of the Darden Partnership Program at the Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia, and graduation from the Army’s Maintainability Engineering Program. John is also a Distinguished Graduate of the Professional Military Comptroller Course, and a graduate of multiple defense industry Senior Leadership Development and Program Management Courses.

His awards include the prestigious NDIA 2006 Greer Award, the Secretary of the Army Award for Outstanding Achievement in Materiel Acquisition, the Canadian Forces Award for Outstanding Service, the Army Materiel Command Award for Systems Analysis, multiple defense industry Mission Success Team Awards, and numerous others.

John is a Certified Professional Logistician (CPL), a member of the United States Field Artillery Association’s Honorable Order of Saint Barbara, a member of the Canadian Calling of the Engineer, and a member of Tau Beta Pi and Pi Tau Sigma (Engineering Honor Societies).

 

Jeremy VanselousJeremy Vanselous

Jeremy Vanselous is a partner at The SearchWorks Group and serves as the firm's Vice President. He joined the firm in 2008 and brings a wealth of vertical experience in Manufacturing including Engineering, Procurement & Supply Chain, Production, and Logistics.

Prior to joining The SearchWorks Group, Jeremy served as the Director of Sales for GSCS Inc., a leading edge materials management company supporting clients such as Texas Instruments, Motorola, BAE, DRS Infrared, ION Geophysical, and WatchGuard Video. Prior to his sales role, Jeremy led the operations team as the company catapulted from $15M to over $50M in just 9 months. Jeremy also worked with Solectron's Global Services division for 7 yrs supporting clients such as SonyErricson, Motorola, Samsung, Kyocera, and Verizon Wireless. At that time, Jeremy was the youngest Regional Manager within this nearly 3000 person business unit responsible for over 100 wireless technicians across 22 cities within the state of TX. Jeremy received several accolades from Solectron including their PREMIER Performance Award in 2004. Jeremy has been a speaker for the Dallas Chapter of the IEEE addressing the impacts of counterfeit components and is the inventor of US Patent No 7,162,278 B2 for a Secured Wireless Handset.

Today Jeremy is focused on providing "Exceptional Human Solutions" for his clients, always working with an absolute sense of Urgency, Integrity, and Professionalism.

Jeremy enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter as well as the occasional round of golf.
